1. Our Philosophy on Your Privacy

True power is controlled and intentional. At CTLST Labs, we apply that same principle to your data. We believe your mental performance journey is your own. We collect only what is necessary to help you find your center and grow as an athlete. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to track you across the web.

2. Information We Collect

We keep our data collection minimal and grounded:

• Account Information: Your email address is collected to create your account and save your progress.
• Performance Assessments: We store your scores (rated 1–7) from our mental performance assessments to provide you with insights into your strengths and growth areas.
• Technical Data: We collect basic diagnostic information (like crash reports) through Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to ensure the app stays steady and functional.

3. How Data is Shared

We believe in transparency. Your data is shared only in the following specific contexts:

• Your Coach: If you join a team via a coach's invite link, that coach receives a high-level readout of your performance assessment results. This is designed to help them provide intentional, quiet support for your development.
• Technical Maintenance: Only our Technical Lead has access to the database for the sole purpose of maintaining app stability and security.

4. Data Residency and Cross-Border Transfer

CTLST Labs is a Canadian entity based in Ontario. To ensure the stability and performance of our services, we use secure infrastructure provided by Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Storage Location: Your data is stored and processed on secure servers located in the United States (US-Central-1).
• Jurisdiction: Because your information is stored outside of Canada, it may be subject to the laws and access requests of the United States government, courts, or law enforcement, according to the laws in that jurisdiction.
• Protection: Regardless of where your data is stored, we use the same rigorous safeguards and "no-tracking" principles to ensure your mental performance journey remains private and secure.

5. Your Control and Rights

You are the owner of your journey.

• Access and Correction: You can review or update your account information at any time within the app.
• Account Deletion: If you choose to leave the path, you can request account deletion in your settings. We will permanently delete your account and all associated performance data within 7 days of your request.

6. Protection of Minors

CTLST Labs is designed for youth athletes. While we do not require formal parental consent for athletes under 16, we encourage parents to be part of the journey. We comply with Ontario's privacy standards for minors and never use student-athlete data for commercial profiling.
